Valises Aluminium Rouillard is a family business founded
in 1986. Maurice Rouillard, at the head of this enterprise, has always been
good with his hands. Jean-Luc Morin, his neighbour and a musician, who had noticed this talent,
approached Mr. Rouillard one day regarding the difficulties encountered when travelling with his cello.
Having taken stock of the heavy, cumbersome wooden case,
that did little to protect the cello, Mr. Rouillard vowed to overcome this
challenge. After spending some time working on the project , he presented
his neighbour with what was to become the first model in a series, redefining
the market standards of instrument cases for musicians.
It didn't take long for Mr. Morin's sarcophagus-style
cello case to attract the attention of other musicians. Word travelled so
successfully that today many musicians from the Montreal Symphony Orchestra
use Mr. Rouillard's carrying cases.
His overjoyed neighbour now enjoys stress-free travel.
His cello is secure in the case that is now also reccomended by the airline
company Inter-Canadian. Since this 1986 success story, Valises Aluminium
Rouillard has sold cello cases and cases for others instrument all over the world. Reaching the World Wide Web
was only a matter of time. |
